Experience

Spending 6 days in Salzburg, in the month of December, I thought, was enough. No way, it was the shortest time to capture Salzburg. The highlight of it all was staying at the luxurious “THE SACHER HOTEL”, having the most strategic location and succumbing to the delicious “SACHER TORTE” every single day, sipping the mulled wine in Alstadt, left me yearning for more. Ice covered Salzburg is a beauty that surpasses all bounds. The X-mas markets, salt mines, sound of music tour, dinner at M32 (Monchesberg) made me feel at the ‘Top of the World’ ST. WOLFGANG, INNSBRUCK, can be made into day trips with one of the Mozart Concert as the icing on the cake. Austria has lots more to offer than just Salzburg. Vienna sitting in the east as its capital is a grand historical city to explore as well.
