The Temple Dome Old City, Jerusalem, - Israel
“The Dome of the Rock” is a shrine located in the old city of Jerusalem. In the early 11th century the Crusaders captured Jerusalem who believed “The Dome of the Rock” was the sight of the Temple of Solomon. Later on, when Jerusalem was recaptured “The Dome of the Rock” was reconstructed as a Muslim Shrine as it was believed that Prophet Muhammad had ascended to Heaven from this Mount.
Experience
Being a history maniac, it took me more than a day to explore the old city of Jerusalem with my map in tow. The old city took me back in time to Roman History which were laced withcrimes upon the Jews.A history lesson worth it.
Israel offers you a wholesome experience like never had before.
Bethlehem and the Dead Sea are places to visit on your bucket list.
